The sole purpose of the book is defence of science, not to make financial profit. Therefore, the book is offered at as low a price as possible via Amazon and bookshops.

Even though the book price is low, I recognise that students of science have very limited resources, and therefore a free download is offered on this site of abbreviated content from some chapters of the book. Please use the ‘Free pdf’ tab.

I intend to update this book regularly via new editions. Science changes rapidly and that is certain to accelerate in our new age of AI. This website contains a ‘Contact’ tab through which you can send comments on the current edition of the book and suggest additional content for the next edition. The huge advantage of self-publishing in our modern age is that books can be updated and new editions made public in a very short timeframe.
